Scorpions Martial Arts and Kickboxing Academy is led by Hanshi Martin Roothman, 9th Dan black belt and nine-time world champion. Kickboxing, discipline and self defence for kids and adults, at seven clubs across South Africa and the United States.

Martin Roothman founded Scorpions Martial Arts in 1996 and built it into a family of academies that has produced provincial, national and international champions. A nine-time world champion and 9th Dan black belt, he has spent almost three decades teaching fighters, and more importantly, teaching character.
From Welkom to George to Paarl, and now home in Malmesbury, the Scorpions story continues, and the Swartland gets to train under one of the most experienced martial artists in the country.
